The funny thing is that I gave two nominations to In Her Shoes, and I didn't like the movie.

Both Lloyd and Langella gave performances that had me wondering, "Wow, who is that?"
(and isn't that what best supporting actor is all about?)

I loved the movie. Curtis Hanson's track record is awesome, with L.A. Confidential, Wonder Boys, 8 Mile, and now In Her Shoes. I didn't like 8 Mile at all, but you have to concede that it's a well-made movie and totally different from the other three, which all are different from each other. Hanson is making a claim to being a truly classic filmmaker in the Wilder/Hitchcock tradition.

Must have forgotten about the twin sons. Besides, couldn't they be from the two highschool cheerleaders he bragged about banging? I'm not giving away any secrets, am I?

Joe Vitus,

Has it been that long since I've been in High School? Ahhhhh.....banging memories.
