SPOILER ALERT FOR 6FU
6FU was a great episode, but I can't understand why D didn't avail himself of the several chances he had to escape. Does he have a death wish or something? |

Sorry! I must have started to read and stopped myself knowing I didn't want to be spoiled (not that you give anything away in either of your posts now that I did read them) and forgot I did that.
Still a bit speechless, but, yeah billy, I kept yelling, "FIGHT BACK!"
The previews have me very worried. Are there going to be serious health repurcussions from this attack? David says he can't breath and Keith's back. Has 3 months passed or did Keith come home early to be with David??? I usually watch each episode twice a week, but I can honestly say it will be awhile before I can watch this one again. |

WelcomeWelcomeWelcomeWelcomeWelcomeWelcomeWelcome!!!
Pull up a lounger (an Eames chair, perhaps?), light some candles, pour yourself a libation, and join in the chat. It's good to hear from you. |

Who's Kate? You all seem to know her, but I haven't the foggiest who she is. Too many Kates in our history. Is KateTimes the same Kate that used to moderate us at the NYT? Regardless, welcome, whoever you are.
Agree that last night's episode was quite powerful. SPOILING But I, too, felt David had a few too many chances to escape. When the guy got out of the van to dump the dead body, why in the hell did David get out with him? "Drive off, fool! " I was screaming. |

Hate to say this, because I know it may cause flaming (three guesses from where), but there was something almost homophobic in the way the episode seemed to say, "David is being ruled by his penis and can't even bring himself to escape when he has a chance to, because he lusts after this guy. But that's the way those gay guys are." Response? |

Hi, Kate! Glad to see you here. I don't normally post in this forum, not having cable, though I do in the other two TV forums. But when I saw that you had signed up, I wanted to say WELCOME! (I used to post to the Times as dilouzi, though I mostly lurked.) |

Marilyn,
I trust you are aware that tan your fanny has entirely different conatations here. The Simpsons, and partivcularly Marge, use the word fanny on quite often. It tends to be greeted with a wry or embarrassed smile (depending on whose watching with who) rather than the usual relaxed laugh. |

jeremy--You've intrigued me. What are these "different connotations"? |

Sorry to be so coy.
In the UK, fanny is usually refers to a woman's front bottom as opposed to anybody's back bottom. |

I'll leave you to select an appropriate interpretation or image for "tanning someone's fanny" in a UK context. |
