| I'd love to hear it, Wade. What album is it on? |

| Some Disney cover album from the late 80s, early 90s? I'll try and look it up for you. |

If it's Barbara Cook, it must be good.
Now back to my Blossom Dearie records. No joke...I am a serious fan. |

| Blossom Dearie's voice is so unusual it's addictive. My kids know her Schoolhouse Rock tunes. |

Wade -- It's hard to tell from a 30 sec. sample but I admit to being intrigued. Of course the fact, that they included "Baby Mine" on the CD, really makes a difference.
I'm just thrilled to learn that Billy and I aren't the only Barbara Cook and Blossom Dearie fans. I saw Dearie a few summers ago. She is really getting up there. But her voice is still wonderful. |

Back in the 1960s I wrote a song for Upstairs at the Downstairs which rhymed "Timothy Leary" with "Blossom Dearie." |

Forgive me if I mention another favorite female vocalist - Peggy Lee.
A genius. And she did voices for Disney. |

Mo - Not only did she sing them she wrote the songs as well. Yes, she was brilliant.
"We Are Siamese if You Please" or "The Siamese Cat Song," from The Lady and the Tramp. A forgetten Disney gem.
Mo -- you really know this stuff. I'm impressed!
And with that, I bid you all a fond G'night. |
