That was her?! Wow color me blind. For some reason I got it stuck in my head that it was the assasin woman that Syd's been helping (Renee I think). |

Lucky. That's not true in my neck of the woods. I have to wait until 10 pm Saturday for Supernatural--which I'm really liking. We have one station for both UPN and WB so programming gets a bit wonky. We get Gilmore Girls (which I enjoy) at 11 pm on Tuesday.
I've been watching the first season of Battle Star Gallactica on Netflix. Listening to the commentary was especially interesting. A lot of the storytelling goals the producers discussed reminded me of things Joss would say about his goals for Firefly. They also had issues with the network being worried that they were getting too dark. |

Don't have Netflex - alas - but I did watch the first few episodes of Battlestar and liked it.
LOST - I think this is one of the better episodes. A lot of things happening. The flashbacks were Jin/Sun which I find more interesting than the others. I enjoyed the story of how they met.
Speaking of "THE Others". Interesting - do you think they are "wild children" gone bad? That's what I was thinking when I saw the teddy bear.
The Sawyer "sullen redneck act" is getting old fast. I liked it last year. This year it's a bore. |

Have they shown Hex (Sky TVs attempt to create a British supernatural series in the vein of Buffy or Charmed) on American TV. I'm not a fan; I don't even make a point of watching it; I was just curious as to how it was being received. |

I enjoyed last night's "Lost" as well--and as far as I'm concerned, they could spin off Jin and Sun for their own series.
The Others made me think of "Lord of the Flies"--maybe it's those kids grown up? |

Just to clarify--I realized one could interpret my comment about Jin and Sun as derogatory. Actually, I meant that I'd watch a series just about them. |

Haven't seen "Hex" Jeremy, is it any good?
I agree carrobin. Jin and Sun are the most interesting of the group. Followed, possibly by Walt and Michael and perhaps Sayid. There's a lot more to them than meets the eye.
BIG SPOILER FOR 3 WEEKS FROM NOW (You have to highlight if you want to read)
Supposedly, someone is going to die. So, who do you think is going to die? I'm thinking Susan (the new blond) |

Ditto.
It's great how we're seeing Jin learn English slowly. Before it was just a word here and there. "Fish." "Boat." Then Sun helped him by giving him that primer. Now he's actually putting a subject with a predicate to form complete (albeit crude) sentences. "You go," for example.
I feel so sympathetic towards Jin now that I can't wait for him to be reunited with Sun so that she can translate his words for everyone else and vice versa. I want him to be a part of that community.
I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen when (and I'm sorry, but there's no way to avoid this sounding like a description of Survivor) the two "tribes" merge. One of the tribes has been doing well in the challenges and hasn't lost many members; the other has been doing poorly and has lost several. One camp has amenities; the other is barely eking out an existence.
The tribe we've been following from the beginning seems to have gotten the section of plane with the luggage in it. That allowed them access to extra clothing, prescription medicines, etc., which they reasonable assumed belonged to passengers who had perished in the crash. When Ana Lucia's group arrives, there might be some disputes over stuff like, "Hey, you're wearing my shirt!"
And what about Jack and Ana Lucia? She was all flirty-flirty with him in the Sydney airport. Now that they're the leaders of their respective groups, will they get along or clash? Will one be willing to defer to the other? |

Definitely welcome back Lotang.
Earl - never thought about the "Survivor" aspect of Lost but now that you mentioned it, it should prove interesting finding out how they react when the tribes "merge". |

The longer I have that avatar the more I want the real puppet. And was Bones cancelled? TV is cruel like that. |

I will post more later but so far this season I am loving Supernatural and haven't decided about Lost. But I am also watching Invasion and Threshold and I'm like Threshold but I should also post the disclaimer that I have a major thing for Carla Gugino. And I like that emotionally they are just inflicting major damage all around for the characters and that they are using Peter Dinklage!!! Is it great? No, but I enjoy it. Just waiting for Battlestar Galactica to come back. |

Lotang - RE: "Bones" - nope - doing well. Just off for a couple of weeks (like LOST) which is a rerun for the next 3 weeks. |
