I can get behind whiskey's opinion, and yet, and yet, I adore Bridesmaids. |

What an obnoxious song. It's on my list of worst songs ever. Right up there with One is the Loneliest Number which isn't Steve Miller of course. |

I've never heard the pompatus song, but I thoroughly agree with Gary about "One is..." so I'll have to listen to "Pompatus," armed with a retch bag. |

Oh, yeah, I'd heard that song. Not a favorite. |

Win Win, Another Happy Day, and Margin Call are the ones I need to catch up with.
Also The Temptation of St. Tony.
"Take the Money and Run" is a strong second place, for me, in the Steve Miller barf category....attempts to rhyme El Paso and "great big hassle," and further assaults the dignity of Texas by rhyming Texas with "what the facts is." SM songs are earworms in the Pavel-Chekov-in-The-Wrath-of-Khan sense. |

Wasn't it called the Steve Miller Blues Band or am I mistaken? I don't remember any blues. |

"One is the loneliest number that you'll ever do."
Yes indeed. You get mighty lonely when you're taking a piss. |

Same Song ,Seventy-Second Verse Dept.
Can one safely assume that once again Blanche is not forthcoming? Just need to know, as am currently fluctuating between temporary domicile(s), storage unit, p.o. box and still-barely-made assignments, so will have to scramble to participate.
Meanwhile, having already spewed my year-end spew in Current Film, cannot see any reason to do so again here, but if this is going to replace the Blancheivities, will reconsider, when time permits. Happy celluloidinals, allez.

The answer lies with chillywilly. As soon as he gets the graphics together we can do something or other if everyone wants to. |
