Never saw a "Saw" movie and don't want to. I found all the women likeable and believable. And you can't go wrong with puppies.

Maybe you have to be female--or Billy--to really enjoy "Bridesmaids." My mother, my sister, and I had a great time.

My wife was just as laughless during Bridesmaids. She was expecting to laugh all the way through. But we both laughed anytime Melissa McCarthy's character Megan was on the screen. Very funny.

(Anchorman is already on the list)

Another movie that I will never watch again, though if I had to pick I'd pick it to watch over Bridesmaids. Anchorman was very slightly funny while Bridesmaids wasn't funny, it was gross. And outside of the cop all the characters were obnoxious to the nth degree.

I liked Christina Applegate's character in Anchorman. And I normally like Will Farrell's acting.

I know a lot of men (gay and straight, btw) who loved Bridesmaids. In fact, one of the most important things about the movie (according to the industry) is that it's the first women-controlled movie that cut across all male demographics except computer geeks and Canadians.

Female, Billy, or have a Third Eye Film moniker that starts with "B." I also enjoyed, and slung some ones and zeroes here in praise of, Bridesmaids. My love of Wiig also began with "Paul" and her one-eyed fundy daughter.

Me too.

By the way, I thought the acting in Bridesmaids was quite good. It was the movie that was bad.

Just finished watching Dinner At Eight. Never saw it. I love those old movies, like from the 30's. Even the corny ones delight me.

Dinner at Eight is a great, great movie and I think Jean Harlow's best performance.

Oh yeah, I should have mentioned that I thought it was excellent. I was planning to watch some other programmes but DAE hooked me in the first couple of minutes. Fuck the other programmes.

What's that exchange between Marie Dressler and Harlow at the end? I remember it as being particularly funny.
