Ach - quite literally got back to my computer today. 3 weeks of ex-us travel have kept me silent. I know there must be a schedule already listed - but if anyone could be so kind as to give me due dates, I will endevour to meet them. It does appear that I am missing screenplay as we speak, but just to add my $0.02:
Best original screenplay:
Another Year
The Fighter
Best adapted:
Rabbit Hole
The Social Network
127 Hours |

More people need to vote!!
I'll start pondering my Supporting Noms, but American films didn't factor too highly in my Year End List, and I don't think my foreign faves will find much support.
BLANCHERRIFIC Folks!!
Don't Miss Out!
(I did buy The King's Speech Problem an hour or so ago and might get it on tonight. Of course, if I get it on tonight, I'm not going to watch a movie). |

I knew she was somewhere in the Grey Area...I was thinking of Damon as the lead in "Hereafter" and the rest as supps, but I can see her either way. My nomination may be suspect, anyway, because I'm madly in love with her. |

I saw her first!!
I can't seem to come up with noms in sets of three. This is my first year doing Blanche, so I'm unsure if this is a requirement for noms, or if I can just lob in one or two noms without incident.
Yeah, I saw that I left the "s" off -- too good to fix. |

Kate: Here's the last known schedule

If there is no real interest, we can dispense with the five remaining categories, though certainly editing and cinematography deserve consideration.
Best Supporting Actor syd
Best Supporting Actress migrun
Best Actor inla
Best Actress inla
Best Director Marc
Best Picture billy
Best Adapted Screenplay moi
Best Original Screenplay moi
Best Cinematography
Best Editing
Best Song
Best Score
Best Animation
Best Documentary gromit
Best Foreign Film ghulam
Screenplays from 4/2 - 4/5
Supportings from 4/6 - 4/9
Docs and Foreigns from 4/10 - 4/13
Leads from 4/13 - 4/17
Movie and director from 4/18 - 4/21
That should give us time to get everything in order. Provided lorne is responsive.
Tabulators to PM me
As far as I can discern from past posts, marantzo is doing Cinematography (Syd offered to pick that up if nobody else did), there's no Editing tabulator, neither category on the schedule yet. Score, Song and the proposed add of Animation are presumably up in the air/out of the pipeline. And now I'm going to dive into my supphose, which is de rigeur before nominating Supphose Actor and Actress. Ah, the exquisite torture of Blanche-in-process, tee-hee. |

Supporting Actor:
Justin Timberlake, The Social Network
Geoffrey Rush, The King's Speech
Tom Wilkinson, The Ghost Writer
Supporting Actress:
Helena Bonham Carter, The King's Speech
Chloe Moritz, Kick-Ass
Mila Kunis, Black Swan
Honorable mention: The unknown sheep who looks into the camera near the beginning of Sweetgrass
I'm having a very hard time deciding whether Olivia Williams is supporting in The Ghost Writer. Similarly for Chloe Moritz in Kick-Ass. In the latter case, I'm intending to nominate her for lead for Let Me In, so she'd be competing against herself.
Delphine Chaneac also gets an honorable mention for Splice, but she's also in the in-between category. |

Everyone is entitled to his/her own perceptions, of course, but I wonder how anyone could see this as a supporting performance. Bening and Moore were costars if ever there were costars. |

It's funny too cause I avrage about 7 movies a week and yet I hardly ever catch the mainstream ones. I did enjoy 'UP' last year. |

I'll take editing as well as supporting actor, unless carrobin or shane wants it as an unbiased observer. |
