I've been tapped by the Maestro himself, Lorne the LShaperoo, to help out with the fussy details of the Blanches so he can focus on the creative side. I'm happy to oblige!
So here are the categories for this year's Blanches. We need volunteers to handle each of these categories for counting purposes.

Time is of the essence this year, folks. You have one more weekend to see those films you've been putting off seeing. You have the remainder of this week to plead, cajole, bribe and otherwise coerce your fellow Third Eyers into nominating YOUR choice for all categories.
Nominate 3 (three) (III) per category. Post your nominations right here in this Blanche forum.
February 1-6: Nominations taken in this Blanche forum for Supporting Actress, Supporting Actor, Screenplays, Song, Editing and Cinematography.
February 7-12: Nominations taken in this Blanche forum for Documentary, Foreign, Actor, Actress, Director and Picture.
February 13: Tabulators, send me your top 5 (five) (V) finalists for your category via PM or email: dee_lightfuldee@yahoo.com
February 15-19: Final Voting for Blanches. I will post the top 5 (five) (V) nominees in each category. You will vote for 1 (one) (I) in each category. DO NOT post your final vote here. Send your final vote via PM or email to the tabulator for that category.
February 20: Tabulators, send your Blanche awardee to Lorne via PM or email: Lshap@videotron.ca
March 6: 11th Annual Blanche Awards! (time TBA)

A couple of FYC's that may escape attention:
Yes, Jeremy Renner and Michael Stuhlbarg as male actors. But forget not Anthony Mackie and Fred Melamed as Supporting Male Actors let us! |

I was thinking the same thing. And I'll double up too if necessary. But I'd like to give it a day or two or three, to see if any more step up to the plate. |
