Marc, I'm so glad you waited till Mirgun was recovering before mentioning she had a mysterious illness. You saved all of us a lot of worry and it was so nice to read your post, knowing that things were going to be OK. That was very thoughtful of you.
My granddaughter got Lyme disease from a tick when she was around four. It took a while to get diagnosed, but she's never had much of a reaction to it. As far as I know it has never returned and she's 20. |

I hope Lady didn't leave because of the "c word/Lissa/Marc/cyber bully incident.
If she did, I'm sorry it effected her so negatively. I hope she gets over it and returns. I consider Danielle a friend. |

Brittany Murphy died at the Cedars Sinai Hospital. No cause has been released. 32 years old.
And I just trashed Girl, Interrupted. Not her fault though. |

Wasn't Brittany Murphy just on Craig Ferguson's show a couple of months ago? I never can remember which starlet is which, but seems like that was her name. |

Likely. There are several films coming out with her in them. |

I doubt if it is cocaine or solely cocaine. Combined with other drugs it can certainly knock your heart for a loop and kill you. It may also have been a suicide by drugs or a lot of things. We'll know soon enough. |

The speculation on Facebook is it may have been anorexia. |

Oh my God. A very talented actress, with a real comedic gift. Sad, sad, sad. |

Likely both were factors. She was insanely thin. |

I agree. It was a long time before I realized that she was the voice of Luann, Hank and Peggy's ditzy live-in niece, on King of the Hill. I remember being impressed that she had that kind of talent.
The character's full name, by the way, was Luann Platter. Which is a wonderful joke for anyone who has ever spent time in Texas and/or eaten at a Luby's Cafeteria. |
