Hey, can I help it if I like John Cusack? Roland Emmerich does seem to have a different take and view on special effect films. For me, that makes him heads above a Michael Bay train wreck. |

The other night a woman who is a friend of ours dropped in for a visit. She said that she and her husband had seen 2012. Her advice was, don't go see it. No discussion, so we don't belong to the "hard to believe" crowd. |

but seriously - watchable CGi effects aside - the dialogue was so darn predictable. Can't believe Ebert gave it 3 1/2 stars |

That's what would get to me, Trish. I hate knowing dialogue before it's uttered. And that happens far too often. |
