(BTW if anyone can find me a place to buy a plush Despereaux, I'd be ever so grateful)
I didn't read the book, but I do plan to see the movie. |

If one lives in NYC! Thank you for stating the obvious to dwellers of large metropolitan areas.
BTW, I'll probably pass on "Despereaux"...as I've had enough of cute rats. |

She is a talented writer. That book, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (which is a tear-jerker with eye-popping pictures) and The Tiger Rising are all superb literary works.
And the movie looks awesome!
mo - Despereaux is a MOUSE - and he's cuter than Ratatouille. |

BILLY! Happiest holidays to you too! Ya missed my "entrance" in the Lobby, huh? I'd be interested to know if you get the film reference... |

As long as he doesn't have the hanta virus, I'm sure he's adorable.

No, no virus that I can recall. HUGE ears à la Dumbo but he talks (UN-à la Dumbo) and his story is sweet.
I need the plush Despereaux. Hoped it would be everywhere, for the Christmas and movie tie-in season but no luck. Yes, he's THAT cute. |

Nancy, you rock! But I guess everyone wanted him...it's sold out. However, I'll try back after the holiday rush...now that I know he exists! Thanks so much! |

That may be because they are having a 20 percent off sale through the 31st. Maybe they will get more in before then. (You're welcome!) |
