I see the lshaps are disagreeing about who is the lead and who is the support in NCFOM. I agree with the lady. Brolin is the lead (the story is about what he does to combat the actions of Bardem). Tommy Lee Jones is also a supporting actor. |

I'm aware of a copy of Michael Clayton which lacks the first scene. Settle only for an edition which starts with Wilkinson's voice-over and bare offices (you'll know it when you see it), not the one starting with Sydney Pollack talking.
Thanks, will keep that in mind.
Easy for me to check, and exactly the kind of thing that nobody here would notice. |

Kate, I'd like to change one of my Supporting Actor nominations, if it's not too late. There are so many great actors in this bunch! - but last night I saw the Best Movie of the Year, and there are TWO deserving Best Supporting Actor noms I wish I could make from There Will Be Blood. As it is, this is my final list.
Best Supporting Actor
Javier Bardem ~ No County for Old Men
Paul Dano ~ There Will Be Blood
Philip Seymour Hoffman ~ Charlie Wilson's War
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Woulda Been Nominated If I'd Been Given Two More Slots Dammit
Ben Foster ~ 3:10 to Yuma (Kate, this is the one I removed from my original list)
Dillon Freasier ~ There Will Be Blood
Got it Mel!
I forget - what do we do in a tie situation? |
Depends. If it's a two way tie, we generally allow a sixth nominee. If it's more than two, we often do a runoff, although we have had occasionally had someone list seven nominees. |
Never having heard of Jill Quigg, I looked up the cast and find that she played "Dottie." Which character was that? It's also Quigg's movie debut and there's no photo of her. Not to disparage or denigrate Ms. Quigg, but are you sure you have the correct actress in mind? |
I'm not sure if it's my penchant for sniffing white board markers or because I spend too many of my awake hours surfing for free internet porn, but mind's not what it used to be. I know we've done this before, but can someone tell me, if I'm just supposed to announce three successful nominees (in alphabetical order). |
Jeremy,
You are supposed to send your tally to Lorne only. You do not do any announcing at all. |
