Rather appropriate that the last post on the Books Lounge was a stinking pile of poo, no? I will not be participating in any further book discussions. I say fuck the NYT. I renounce the NYT. I vow never to set foot in that web site again. That's how much fuck the NYT. |

I have to say, whiskey, that I will be more than happy to be completely rid of many of those pricks over there. What a bunch of loons - puget and roady - just put it this way, they really showed their true colors at the end. What a couple of flamers (in more ways than one). I'm just going, DAMN, do you HAVE to cram your mediocre, lowbrow tastes and opinons down my throat QUITE so much?
I noticed 4 uses the word "drivel" a lot. fwtho called something a "pile of drivel" (sic) - could that be her? |

But whiskey, that could prove difficult in the extreme if you don't set foot there again......
Sorry, couldn't help it.
I was amazed at the spewing at the end. I don't know who that # 4 person is, but I wouldn't want to meet him/her in a dark alley. Gak. |

I believe the Third Eye official style guide recommends the somewhat risque, but visceral 'sucks bvc' over the more prosaic 'sucks eggs'...especially in reference to the NYT fora. |

Likewise, Marj. It has been too long. |

bvc? Don't tell me. I'll work it out! And it will be visceral. |

Buy what the Sam Hill is bvc? "Sucks eggs" is merely putting it as politely as possible. |

BVC...
I'm fairly certain B is "Big," V is "Veiny" and C is "Citrus." |
