Step One is finding our Voting Deputies. Email me if you'd like to count nomination votes which will be posted online, and then count final votes which will be emailed to you directly.
The categories are:
Best Supporting Actor
Best Supporting Actress
Best Cinematography
Best Song
Best Score
Best Screenplay
Best Documentary
Best Foreign Film
Best Actor
Best Actress
Best Director
Best Picture
(I'm not a fan of dividing up the Screenplay award into two categories - Adapted and Original - because it seems less important and certainly takes more research than simply awarding the best written films, period.) |

Just wanted to apologize in advance for not being able to be a vote-tallier. I will be out of the country during the Blanche nomination process. |

Seriously, there was one member who arranged to cast her award votes early because she was planning to be in the hospital. Blanche soldiers on. |

I'm pretty sure I'll be somewhat computer-accesible and can post my nominations. I just can't HELP tally any votes.
The Blanches are one of my favorite things here - so I won't miss them. Who knows what time zone I'll be in when they are "live" - so perhaps I won't be able to be online for the actual wins. |

Lorne, the poster looks great! Thanks for kick-starting the Blanche season.
I am a BIG fan of separating the screenplay nominations into Original and Adapted, simply because creating each of those requires a completely different skill set. We are all writers, to some degree. Surely we can all appreciate this.
To avoid confusion as much as possible, I'd be happy to list which screenplays are original or adapted during the nominating process. |
