This from a man who (correctly IMO) gave Signs four stars. |

| I must admit I was disappointed in the trailer I saw for "Airbender" in the theater. I'd had some hopes for it, but it looked like an incoherent mess of action-movie hyperactivity. Hoped it was just a bad trailer, but I guess not. |

Knight and Day: Okay, okay, I liked it. Cruise's film has the cheekiness of James Bond and the stroke-inducing intensity of Jason Bourne. Some of his stunts don't just defy probability, they defy physics, but who's counting. It's a fun, clever action flic.
