Films released in 2009:

http://www.the-numbers.com/movies/index2009.php

Because it never really got a wide release until the Nina Paley started offering it on her web site, I'm counting Sita Sings the Blues among this year's films.

Editing:
District 9
The Hurt Locker
Up in the Air

(I'm guessing in this category, except for the first)

Cinematography:
earth
Inglourious Basterds
Up in the Air

(I was waffling whether to put The Battle of Red Cliff aka Red Cliff II here, but since it was combined with Red Cliff in the states, and edited down to make one film, I decided I'd already nominated it. I am, however, considering Red Cliff II separately for Foreign Film since that's how it was originally released.)

Hi..I just want to let you all know I'm in the loop. I will start off counting the Best Supporting Actress category but does anyone want to take over the Best Song ? Between work, traveling and trying to keep my apartment to have no personality (it's on the market) it's taking a toll on me.

Counting best song at the moment is very easy, since I'm the only one who's voted in that category.

Late-to-the-Party Dept.:

Mirgun or Syd, should duple-tabulating be too much, can take on either Song or Editing. Song is easily conjoined with Score tallying; Editing is a category I advocated for before. Just saying, in the event of emergency, let me know, will back-up tabulate. One lives to be of service to Blanche, after all.
