Going with first dibs, here's what I've got:
Supporting Actor - Chilly
Supporting Actress - Mirgun
Original & Adapted Screenplays - Whiskeypriest
Score -
Song - Mirgun
Editing - Syd
Cinematography - Syd
Documentary -
Foreign - Betsy
Actor - Wade
Actress - Marj
Director - Marc
Picture - Billy
I accidentally omitted Score from the original lineup. Sorry about that.
Both Mirgun and Syd have offered to give up one of their categories if someone else would like to step up. |

Score is mine, then, unless somebody else wants it, in which case I shall relieve Syd of editing. |

That's traditional, but we may be changing it for Best Picture to reflect the those other awards. |

I won't be doing anything, other than criticising your choices that is. You're just lucky to have me here.
Time will tell, but I'm not sure that it's been a great year for film. Nonetheless, I'd like to suggest a special award be given to James Cameron and his team of cgi wizards. They contributed to the moral welfare of our are young men by keeping our cinemas free from blue breasts. Their inventiveness was manifest, which is more than you can say for the N'avi's tits.
I remember that in the mocap version of Beowulf, Angelina Jolies' nipples were smoothed over and great efforts were made (to deliberate comedic affect) to hide Ray Winstone's...er...tackle. It's as though filmmakers are relatively relaxed about showing people's naughty bits if caught on film, but can't actually bring themselves to draw them in. |
