Are you aware that I am in Citizen Toxie? No argument about the movie, just wondering.

So that's where I'd heard of it. Just think, you could have been in The Room.

I kind of liked A Beautiful Mind, though it was dull, but hated Gladiator. At least in the older versions of this genre, there was a kitch factor that I like or can endure.
I also have to think about this and look through some titles( but not watch again.) I don't feel like these are even mentionable but here are few that come to my mind right away
Fallen Star (Bright Star), Somewhere in Time, Swept Away (the re-make),Gladiator, The Postman, that one with the bottle, oh yea, Message in A Bottle, Gigli, Mission Impossible II, Matrix 2 , Babylon A.D ( i have no idea why I saw it), and I agree with Star Wars,Terms of Endearment.English Patient.. which brings to mind The Sheltering Sky ( i love Paul Bowles but this was horrible) That's it for now.Dinner time.

I can see why you found him deadly dull in Gladiator. But, I didn't find him deadly dull in the opening battle scene which for me was spectacularly done. When the trauma pours down on him I think his dullness was appropriate for someone suffering that trauma and inwardly planning revenge.

I didn't mind Crowe, the movie as a whole was.. uninspiring for me.. true,I didn't cringe from it..maybe I should concentrate more on HATE..
okay I hated Rock Star with Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston
and I can never watch Tommy ( although I have)

Tommy is one of the worst. That Ann-Margret was nominated for an Oscar for it shows how slim the pickin's were that year.

I liked Terms of Endearment. I think it was my first look at Lithgow, and I warmed to him. ("Well, you must be from New York"). Nicholson and MacLaine were just on the cusp of too-cuteness, but they made me laugh. Who can't like Jack as an old lecher? And Winger was great, like when she faced down her husband. What can I say, except I'm right.

Loved The English Patient, liked A Beautiful Mind, liked certain parts of Gladiator. The last two being anything BUT Best Pictures of the Year.

HATED? Ooooh, so many. Will have to gather up me thoughts and get back to ya later on those.

This was a live performance sent live to local theaters. It sounds like it tops anything we're likely to come up with. Even The Room.

I think I'm still in shock from reading Syd's link. And just because of its pretentiousness, it may top The Room. Thankfully we don't have to see this. GAWD!! Shocked

This reminds me of Leonard Pinth-Garnell's Bad Cinema, the episode with "ooh-la-la! les legs!", un film de Henri Heimeau, avec "Suzi" et Les Six.
