Yeah, I watched it. Delightful.

I'm waiting for you to do a video accompanying Let It All Hang Out. I really liked the Nails version. The one in the church?

Marc,

Did something go wrong with the video link? Or did you decide the latest is not ready for prime time?

I had no problem with it. It's really good, too.

Marc,

I really loved this video. And I loved what you did stripping the color from it. Very good work!

This Obama cat just might know what he's doing:

Quote:
The bill seeks to curb abusive lending, particularly in the mortgage industry, and to ensure that troubled companies, no matter how big or complex, can be liquidated at no cost to taxpayers. And it would create a “financial stability oversight council” to coordinate efforts to identify risks to the financial system. It would also establish new rules on the trading of derivatives and require hedge funds and most other private equity companies to register for regulation with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Passage of the bill would be a signature achievement for the White House, nearly on par with the recently enacted health care law.

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/22/business/22regulate.html

Plus the first major legislation, the stimulus bill, which helped avert a much more severe recession (or worse).

So: stabilize a dangerously shaky economy, seriously reform health care, and re-regulate the financial industry to try to avert future collapses.
Some pretty nice work for less than a year and a half.

Too bad the unemployment rate is still awful, the economic recovery still fairly fragile, and so much time was wasted before health care got enacted.

Of course, according to the Republicans, all those accomplishments are sinister evidence that Obama's a socialist tyrant who is determined to bring down America. (The only sign of hope is that he hasn't withdrawn troops from the Middle East...)
