Soon to come, the Adapted Screenplay award. Also known as the "You Ruined My Perfectly Good Book" Award.

I should've voted in that category but I only just saw The Duchess yesterday and I'd have nominated Rachel Portman's stunning score. Oh well.

Go Rahman!

His score does what it's supposed to, and the fact that I noticed it at all is something because I NEVER pay attention to the score.

There was a plurality to Shore up Howard, but not enough to finally Top Rahman. Expect the same thus-far results (barring the Supphose Actor tie) at that other, um, film society tonight.

Am loving the way my besequinned wimple sets off the bugle beads on the low-rider Castro Street bellbottoms and the gilt of the sari, if I do say so myself who shouldn't.

Lissa - Just so you know, I'll be locking the forum in between posting the nominees and posting the winner, to keep the flow. It's unlocked immediately afterwards.

Syd - well put and all too often, too true! I'm just reading Revolutionary Road - I'll report back when I've gotten the chance to compare it to its cinematic partner.
