There's a hell of a lot of plot, all of it riveting. Though I think one "surprise" is telegraphed. When you see it completely, we'll talk. |

Quote: Basically what happened was what the defense stated.
I must have missed that. What did he state? |

The defense stated that the gunshot was self inflicted. In other words, an accident. They were able to show this due to blood splatter, etc. It was enough to give the jury reasonable doubt and find the defendant not guilty. |

Gary Cole, the ballistics expert, said he thought it was an accidentally self-inflicted gunshot wound. |

Pretty flimsy. I'm sure they could determine if it were, quite easily. For one thing there would have to be the victims prints on the gun and the angle and distance of the entry. And of course gun powder residue on her hand. Speaking of which, did the accused have gun powder residue on her hand? I seem to remember that coming up. She was supposed to have had it transfer from some other person or something. |

My avatar is modeled on Cliff Robertson's apartment in "Charly," after the experimental treatment stopped working and he reverted. Very minimalist.
That film stuck with me as sort of a metaphor for human life -- you start out knowing nothing and, if you live long enough, you end up the same way.
So when I see a bare wall where I'm living, I think of "Charly" and feel this little shiver. |

It wasn't on! I think I'll get another chance Sunday night. At least I hope. Why doesn't FX allow streaming or at least On Demand. No wonder the ratings for Damages are low.
I guess you can tell I'm pissed. |

It should be repeated on Sunday night, right? I'm hoping to see it again as well. |

Thanks. Still disoriented because some of you seem to know what you are talking about, esp. in regard to film. |
