Well, it seems okay now, but there was something really weird happening for the last half hour or so, and I had to enter my password to get back on. The colors were different, there was a different name for the site, etc., etc. Can someone explain? |

Apparently we have a new option for color scheme. |

Did you get logged out, too? I think something in the forum logged everyone out.
I noticed the nosebleed name... kind of odd. |

Nosebleed's been added to the color scheme, but it doesn't seem to work properly. |

I admit to not having seen Vampire's Kiss and Guarding Tess. The previous two movies you mentioned were both comedic roles, which so far, Cage seems to do good in.
For me, he was bearable in Con-Air, but I have to admit that I liked John Cusack's role in that movie better. |

As for Matchstick Men, I may have to revisit that on your recommendation, billy. It just didn't grab me. |

Alison Lohman was the standout in that film, but Cage was good, too. |

Lohman is a great film actress who I hope is not getting lost in the Dunst/Danes/McAdams shuffle. |

Correction... that should be 2001 above. |

Taos is over 7000 feet. I guess nosebleed makes some sense. |

Speaking of Taos, they got a mention in the Salt Lake Trib the other day about having one of four remaining ski reports that do not allow snowboarders.
http://www.sltrib.com/search/ci_3363619
Quote: Deer Valley is one of the four remaining U.S. resorts where trails sculpted from the mountains are reserved for skiers. Alta, southeast of Salt Lake City, New Mexico's Taos and Mad River Glen in Vermont are the others willing to turn away potential business because enough skiers seem to like it that way.
...
Taos, in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of northern New Mexico, is celebrating its 50th anniversary - and is sticking to its ''pure skiing'' mantra.
''We see it as something that differentiates us from other ski areas,'' general manager Gordon Briner said. |
