The Stones Exile on Main Street. There isn't a week that goes by that this isn't playing on my iPod.
With some minor exceptions, the entire 71 through 81 Stones albums are tops for me.... also adding in Let It Bleed and now thanks to Marc's recommendation, Between The Buttons, which I've always liked... just found a new apprecaition for it.
And thanks Rod... for mentioning two great albums. I see that Elvis Costello has been doing some reissues lately, with King of America being the latest.
Imperial Bedroom was always a favorite of mine from Mr. McManus.

Chilly, "Punch The Clock" was an excellent Costello album. Some of the tracks were produced by Langer & Winstanley in the style of the time ("Everyday I Write The Book" being a case in point) but the strength of the melodies stands above the production. The clincher was the beautifully poingnant "Shipbuilding". My favourite Costello albums, however, would be "King Of America" & "Spike". |

Soooooooo , INTERPOL didn't do "NYC". I kept waiting for it. It's okay. I loved "Not Even Jail". It's my favorite sond on the album. Thanks guys for doing it. The rest of the concert was absolutely fabulous, sorry you missed it.

All 3 great Elvis Costello albums. It's been a long time since I've heard "Spike" May need to scout out a copy and take another listen.
