I'l start off with Marc's first post and repoting my reply from over on the other forum.

I agree. I'd like to participate. PULP FICTION was a film that I found several years after it made the scene. In fact, I saw JACKIE BROWN before I saw PULP FICITON. It remains one of my favorite films of the 90's. |

I agree too! In fact Pulp Fiction is at the top of my "Best of '90's Film List."
And like Chilly, I only learned of it after the change in the millenium. I kept wondering after seeing it how I had missed it for so long. It really is a great film.
And since I didn't get a chance to post the rest of my list, I'll do so now. But I have one caveat. I know I must have missed something!

Lets begin a discussion on Pulp Ficton next Monday, June 5. That gives everyone the weekend to re-watch the movie. I really don't think this forum will need much moderation. I am willing to keep it moving and on topic.
Lets come up with 4 more films to discuss. I suggest that instead of each society member listing 4 films, that we each pick one or two films and from the resulting collection of picks we choose 4. Of course, other films will enter these discussions. In talking about PULP FICTION, I am sure RESERVOIR DOGS will come up. As wellas all the films that PULP FICTION inspired, including crap like BOONDOCK SAINTS and decent films like LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS.

And I'll sit down and watch FIGHT CLUB for the first time (yes, that's true... never have seen it). My daughter (movielover14) has seen it and likes it a lot (she saw the edited version on TBS) |

SHOWGIRLS (cult)
and one with Jeff Fahey (looking very gorgeous that I can't remember the name of) but it was still a good movie. |

I'm with Mo on BOUND... very good movie.
I also suggest VERY BAD THINGS, which was a movie that I laughed my ass off. |

I also liked SWAMP THINGS, the one with Neve Campbell and the ex-Mrs. Charlie Sheen (Denise Richards).
And I loved MEMENTO!
(Gina Gershon is a real '90's kind of chick - BOUND AND SHOWGIRLS...way to go. |

Wild Things is the correct title, although Swamp seems to cover Mrs. Sheens/Sambora's role a bit better. |

Wild Things was a decent watch.

I loved Memento, but I'd classify it as 'gimmicky' rather than exclusive to one decade. And besides, I think it was done in 2000, like being born on the cusp.
