Just checked the imdb.com for info. about Dame Judi.

She WON the Oscar for 8 min. of screen time in SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE.

------

I'm sure that Norman Lloyd had at least 8 min. total in IN HER SHOES, but I won't change my nominations because of my fondness for Jake G. (who I think really played a LEADING role); but...

On the imdb.com I also learned that Dame Judi is 5'3"...so I'd like to give Bob Hoskins a special nomination for being the SHORTEST supporting actor. Dame Judi seems to tower over him in "Mrs. Henderson Presents."

Well. If Mrs. Lshap is aboard, it's officially A Brave New Era in Blancheification. Tres fabulositous. Way kewl.(insert clapping emoticon here)

I'm gittin' giddy, an' I din't even post my list of supphose runners-up, which was, to put it demurely, immense.

Blanche Fever, Blanche Fever

I always thought Lorne was single. Where does he find the time to hook up with women in cheap motel rooms that he's always bragging about? He must have a lot of energy. Anyway, Mrs. L, welcome.

Lorne was single? A single man with twin sons?

Must have forgotten about the twin sons. Besides, couldn't they be from the two highschool cheerleaders he bragged about banging? I'm not giving away any secrets, am I?

Why don't we create a new category for the Blanches - Best SHORTEST performance?
