Haven't done a tagline quiz for a while. Actors link consecutive movies, with the last linking back to the first. Most of the movies are from the 21st century.
1) The most astonishing adventure in the universe begins when the world ends
2) Close your eyes, but keep your mind wide open
3) The courage of one will change the world
4) In love, be the flame - not the moth
5) This summer a star falls. The chase begins.
6) A comedy about finding your heart and losing your head
7) When the order came to retreat, one man stayed.
8 ) The man who tried to cheat the devil.
9) It looked like the perfect bank robbery.
10) If you believe in love at first sight, you never stop looking.
11) This spring, prepare for their excellency.
12) The story of a man ready to make a connection.
13) The road to greatness can take you to the edge
14) There are some places in the universe you don't go alone
15) A comedy of galactic proportions
16) The ultimate romantic comedy |

1 is the abominably awful version of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. |

Is #3 taken? If not, how about The Hunger Games, with Josh Hutcherson linking to #2? |

Right idea, but wrong movie. You have three more tries. |

4 is a quote from Casanova, so it might be the most recent film of that title. In which case, I want the link to be Ms. Sienna Barton-Miller. Which means 5 could be Stardust. But Stardust, I don't know of any links to MBFW. I am always surprised when I can just spell Dermot Mulroney. |

All correct, but there is most definitely a link between Stardust and My Best Friend's Wedding. |

Sorry, "I don't know of," I mean in the sense that I try to do these puzzles without recourse to reference sources, i.e. "I do not know these films well enough, from a brute memory perspective, to say what the link is." |

Is #14 Aliens? Sigourney Weaver would link to #15. |

Sounds right. and the "....you don't go alone" would especially fit the second film in the franchise. |
