I've skipped it. I like your reason for not watching.

The most recent episode of "Grimm" was certainly a lighthearted one. A love potion farce that seemed more like a Shakespeare forest comedy than their usual sort of plotline.

Much as I love Stephen Colbert, I really miss Dave sometimes.

Anyone here seen "Trial & Error" the Tuesday night sitcom with John Lithgow as a man accused of murdering his wife? It's done in the single-camera mockumentary style of "Arrested Development" and has a similar approach in terms of characters who are, for the most part, eccentric and dysfunctional people. Some of the quirks may be a little overdone, but I found it amusing as a send-up of all those true crime shows (48 Hours, e.g.) that litter our nation's airwaves.

bart--Saw the first episode. It's cute. Maybe TOO cute. But I will give it more of a chance.

Does anyone who watches Elementary really give a damn about Shinwell? Why do we have episode after episode involving this character?

I haven't watched "Elementary" in months. I seem to keep getting stuck every night on MSNBC.

I've watched "Elementary" from the beginning and still watching it!

It would be easier if they hadn't moved it to Sunday night, so that it shows later whenever they have a sports show and I'm stuck waiting for the interminable "Madam Secretary" to end.

There's a channel now called Cozi that runs old TV shows, and they've been adding some good ones (although they're still too heavy on "Murder She Wrote" and old sitcoms). Tonight they had "Columbo" at 7 (Robert Vaughn and Patrick McNee and Dean Stockwell were involved), followed by two "Rockford Files." I feel like I've had three helpings of chocolate cake. With a glass of merlot.

Extremely well written and dramatized, BBC's "To Walk Invisible: The Bronte Sisters" (on PBS) is a thoroughly engrossing portrayal of a gifted family. Chloe Pirrie is outstanding as Emily.

That was on PBS while I was watching the detectives, and I caught some interesting scenes flipping back during commercials. It's on our other PBS station tonight and I hope to watch it all.

Same here.

Re Shinwell: I've seen 2 eps of Elementary this season and I can agree that the Shinwell thing, whatever it is, is not compelling and just takes away from the story of the week. I liked last night's sunken treasure plot and the twist.

Tomorrow night is the last "Bones" episode. I didn't realize until I read a piece about it in the News that the show has run for 12 seasons. It certainly doesn't seem like it's been around that long. (And no wonder Booth and Brennan look older and heavier now than they do in the repeats on channel 9!)
