I'm doing Cinematography so I guess I have to start keeping track. Someone will have to tell me how to tabulate it.

marantzo: My tabulating tip is list the member on the left side of the legal pad/notebook page/Word document/cocktail napkin, the three nominees alongside to the right, so when noms are done, it's fairly easy to count out which 5 have gotten the most votes.

For example
inla King's Speech Phillip Morris Rabbit Hole
befade Fighter Kids Are All Right Phillip Morris
billyweeds Toy Story 3 Another Year King's Speech
etc.

but that's just how I do it. The big thing is to keep track of the titles, and if doing more than one category, do them on different pages.

Am suspecting that this:

Since this year is clearly an anomaly, a first-time-delayed affair, and since, inevitably, the lack of formal Blanche prep has put the whole process into under-attended disarray, how unacceptable would it be to fudge on previous deadlines, respectfully ask volunteer tabulators to keep an eye out for incoming entries in their categories, and reboot/open the schedule up to late input? Otherwise, seems to me, the whole point of this year's delay -- more members have a chance to see more films and up the chances of Blanche truly being anti- or at least counter-Oscar -- will have been for naught.

didn't get a consensus.

Thanks inla, So it's the top five, I couldn't remember how many stayed in the running. I Put the nominations on Word and add them as they come. Easy, just copy and paste. Then I can print it and add them up.

That's what I'd do.

I'm not a stickler on this. This is a disorganized year so if someone wants to drop in late nominees, it's fine by me.

Jonathan Amos and Paul Machliss, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
