George Will doesn't like denim? One more reason to avoid him, as if there weren't enough already.

Will took one step forward yesterday, however, as he battled Liz Cheney on the Stephanopoulos hour. She is truly her father's daughter, except she has no credentials other than that. What a jerk! (How's that for a gender-neutral insult?)

George Will is the most obnoxious, self satisfied, stick up his ass, cheating, pompous asshole commentator there is. When he is commenting on the TV I have to change the channel before I throw a brick through my television screen. The slang dictionary should have his picture after the definition of the word Prick.

It's what the rest of my 50$ Amazon gift card is going to, after I pick up Hurt Locker.

I'm thinking of using mine for The Sweet Hereafter and The Wizard of Oz. I like the S H for the snow. I miss snow. Can anyone name other good movies with snow in them (no need to mention Dr. Zhivago).

As this is Current Film, it's up in the air. It will be a while till Marta gets her permanent residency status approved. It will be approved but it may not be till June when it is finished. I just got my 3 year visa and that covers me for how ever long I stay. I would like to go back in April, but it probably will be later unless I want to go alone, which I don't. My car is in Atlanta so we will be flying to Atlanta and then driving to Winnipeg.

You could try My Winnipeg. Laughing Actually the movie I saw on TV a few weeks ago, Snow Cake, has some nice snow. Great movie too.

Have to sorta disagree with you about Snow Cake. It's very interesting but that's about as far as I'll go. Alan Rickman doesn't do much for me as a sensitive leading man, and Sigourney Weaver was way miscast as autistic, although she did an intelligent job of acting. The movie left me emotionally unsatisfied. It was well made, however; on that I agree with you.

Thanks for all the snow ideas. I think I like melancholy or sentiment with my snow. Francis McDormand contradicts my snow feel.

People need to send screeners to Gary!!!

I like George Will. He reminds me of Xerxes..... I'm moving denim discussion to Lobby.

I thought Rickman was terrific in an atypical role for him. Emotionally unsatisfied? I had the opposite reaction. And the ending just sealed it.

Did your wife have a similar view of the movie?

I like Rickman so I'll watch it. Did you know Weaver is 60? So is Meryl Streep.
