That's the general take on her from her classmates, too. Chambers (aka Briggs) was a cheerleader, nominated for homecoming queen, very popular, etc. She also attended a number of class reunions and was very sweet to all the men (and their wives) who wanted their pictures taken with her. |

I'm trying to find a site I located thru StumbleUpon yesterday and forgot to bookmark. It is an interactive map of the world which measures energy consumption, births, deaths, etc. in different countries in the world.
Does anyone happen to have the URL for this excellent site? |

I share your frustration. When grown men find the time to discuss the virtues of 17 AGAIN, while ignoring your fervent appeal for a specialty forum, you know THIRD EYE is on a downward slide. Poor moflix is a lone voice in the wilderness that has become Current Film. I have found the film discussions on Facebook (currently discussing Korean films with Mikal Gilmore, Gary's brother and a contributor to Rolling Stone) far more energizing than what goes on in here.
I think this group is experiencing collective burnout, too little to say over too long of a period of time. Third Eye is a like a husband and wife who've been married for 50 years and have nothing left to say to each other. In its current state, this is not a forum I would join. And many of our regulars have bailed, leaving the rest of us to wipe the drool from each others chins. |

| Hey, you want to start a specialty forum, start one. Who moderates these things. I've mentioned a number of topics which some liked and then were torpedoed in favour of film school class topics, so go ahead and start one. |

I can't make out what you're frustrated about. We've done a De Palma forum, we did it on the Times site with most of the members here. That may be why no one's too eager to start another. But you're a monitor here, you can open up a new forum any time you want. Start the forum if you're eager. You and Bocce can get the ball rolling. Both Earl and I contributed lengthy posts on Carrie just this week.
Nor do I understand your gripe about no one seeing movies. Most people here saw and commented on Adventureland, but there's not much else out there to see. Should we all rush out to catch Earth, Hannah Montana, or The Fast and the Furious? Are any of them worthy of discussion? It's a slow movietime. When Milk, The Wrestler, and other good movies were out, people were talking. A lot of people commented on the Julia Roberst movie. When people see other interesting movies, they'll talk about them, too.
Until such time, we'll just enjoy each other's company. Contrary to your analogy, this forum isn't a marriage in trouble, it's a comfortable romance. |

I gave up my moderating duties a long time ago. I think Lorne and ehle are the only one's that create a new forum.
