Now that one's a little surprising. She went to high school with my sisters. |

this is the first REAL day of spring in south carolina...
there is a gentle rain falling on fully bloomed azaleas (not those fakes in augusta) and it's in the mid 60's. it'll rise to the 70's tomorrow. the sun will be out and the air heavy but rich...
the water in the bay is calm other than the raindrops and i couldn't conjure a better heaven... |

Also RIP former baseball Rookie of the Year Mark Fidrych, in an apparent accident while working on a truck. For that one season, he was a sensation. Unfortunately a knee injury and later a rotator cuff injuriy cut sort his career. |

We're all familiar with the IMdB - Internet Movie Database...but are you familiar with the The Internet Movie Script Database? |

I didn't know about that, though I have used the Internet Broadway Database:

You're welcome, all - I play with "Stumble Upon" a lot (toolbar add-on that sends you to sites around the 'net that relate to the interests you specify) and when that one came up I knew there was no better group to appreciate it than y'all!
(and when in a bind for a tagline, or one of Syd's incredibly complex trivia questions - we now have a new resource ) |

Another cool site - this one has artwork inspired by films. The interpretations on these are superb!
Have a look... |

Huh?? Maybe someone can clarify, but I thought that the trivia contests were _not_ 'open book.' Please set me straight. If I look up the answer, I don't play. |

Didn't see the tongue firmly planted in my cheek on that one, mo? Or do you always take things so literally? <<<===
As for Stumble Upon - it's compatible with IE as well (though I know very few people who use that browser). I would have gotten the SU bug earlier but I was using Netscape on my other laptop and only switched to FF (without regrets, I must add).
Stumble Upon's home page is found here (mo's link is to the firefox add-on to download) and can answer most peoples' questions. Have fun but warning: it's addictive to keep stumbling (as is evidenced by the neverending stream of links I post on my FB profile). |
