Does anyone know anything about this? Sounds like it's worth the $10.50--

Yes -- you can watch it for free, then decide if you want to spend the bucks. It's cute, but for me it stays in the "watch free" section.

They're still going to be broadcast. According to Wikipedia

Quote:
On April 3, 2009, it was announced that the final three episodes would air on Saturdays at 10pm starting on May 30th.

Since Joe doesn't seem to think I fleshed out my feelings about Dollhouse, I'll flesh them out. I saw one and 1/16th episode of this series and it was so stupid that my IQ dropped 25 points to 128. Fortunately I was still smart enough to quit watching before it fell to average.

Carry on.

carol - I didn't follow the link when you originally posted, sorry. Dr. Horrible was a very entertaining project that Whedon conceived of during the writer's strike. Neil Patrick Harris is absolutely spot on.

I never saw Dr. Horrible. Do the songs resemble Once More with Feeling?

kinda, sorta. Since you have to get to know the characters in the story, unlike the pre-established Buffy characters, there maybe aren't as many shades of meaning in the songs, and the superhero story lends itself to some campiness, but the songs are catchy and move the story along in surprising ways.

I didn't even know it was a superhero story. I think I'm going to have to see it (the whole thing went by without my knowing; until articles on Dollhouse came along, I don't think I knew Dr. Horrible existed).

M-A-G-N-I-F-I-C-E-N-T!

The thing about Joss is that when he's flailing, you wonder how he ever thought the concept would work, but when he's on top of his game, it's an astonishing high-wire act. This was an incredible episode, with humor, action, and amazing surprises all the way through. And it's great to see Eliza Dushku and Amy Acker share a scene together. It feels notalgic, though I'm pretty sure Fred hadn't joined Angel when Faith last visited.

My favorite exchange--
"Why do you work for the Dollhouse?"
"It's a no-brainer..."
