Thre ruby slippers from "The Wiz of Oz" are hardly "fuck me pumps." Here's the definition:

"high heeled, ankle strapped woman's shoes circa 1940 causing one to walk in a pronounced, seductive, strutting motion, made popular by the actress Joan Crawford."

I've always thought they had a cut-out toe, too.

Yeah, I wouldn't consider skipping down a yellow brick road with the occasional cross-over "seductive strutting"...

Dorothy, your reputation remains intact!

Speaking of seductive pumps. Female porn stars tend to wear those ultra ugly huge platform jobs that are as enticing as any clown prop is.

I agree.

Here's a different definition of "fuck me shoes." According to this one (or maybe its link) they have an ankle strap and are wedgies --- I find this hard to believe. Wedgies aren't sexy at all, imo.

They also describe the hi-heel as being appropriate for B&D activity!

Marilyn Monroe showed her genius, if the myth is true, that she had one hi-heel 1/4" shorter than the other to give her a provocative walk and make her ass wiggle...and I believe it, too.

Here's the other (more naughty) definition I found:

http://www.sex-lexis.com/F-Word-Dictionary/fuck-me%20shoes

P.S. Amy Winehouse also has a hit song about "fuck me pumps"...but I've never heard it. I think I've heard her sing once and thought she was talented...but her private life seems like a train wreck.

There's something very '40's about "fuck me pumps," not '30's...but maybe someone else knows more about this.

Obama reportedly has the best physique of any of our presidents. Maybe billy just hasn't chosen the right shots.

I think he used to have that pic of Obama coming out of the ocean which is the image that first put Obama in the sexy man category.

One of my favourites of hers - deadly accurate lyrics.

You obviously haven't seen or have forgotten some bare chested pictures of JFK. Actually Obama's physique is not all that great. He tends toward tall and skinny. Reagan even for his age had a good build and Bush Jr. is well built.

Yeah, I think the fuck me pumps are a 40's type style. And you are certainly right about wedgies.

An interview with Gus Van Sant about the making of Milk:

Article here

I hadn't realized that the film had bounced around for so many years or that guys like Tom Cruise and Matt Damon had been considered for the role of Dan White.

...

JFK - OK, but he thought the men in his family had female-type chests. Look at Teddy today (man-boobs). JFK thought he had the same problem...but I admit he looked very good in those sail boat photos. And of course, JFK, Jr.
Wonder about RFK - having read as much as I have about Marilyn Monroe, I've come to the conclusion that he was probably the hotter of the two (JFK/RFK).
Reagan - no, sorry. HuffPo recently had photos of him and Nancy in bathing suits. Forget it. Almost as bad as the photos of Bill and Hillary dancing in their bathing suits on the beach.
Haven't seen any photos of Bush, Jr. without a shirt. Can you post some links?

Granted Obama is on the skinny side...
BTW the Jan. VOGUE has a terrible portrait of Michelle Obama in a blue ball gown - someone really made a goof.

If Cruise had had the courage (and I mean the courage to commit to the role, not just take it), he would probably have been a very good White. Of course, Josh Brolin couldn't be equalled.

I agree. It would have been good casting...and possibly could have won him a Best Supp. nom.

And interesting that he'd take the role in "Tropic Thunder." Maybe because it was so obviously comic.
