Got a few P.M.s on the subject and here I am...
First of all, I have been doing my job, which is exactly why I haven't been around here. My business hasn't allowed me a moment to chill and write about film or politics, nor has it given me the time to sift through 1,560 of Seagull's posts and whack him upside the head. I'm too busy, up way too early, not seeing enough films and not having enough fun. Thanks for asking.
That said, Seagull, you've apparently become a real pain. You claim to give only as good as you get, but your perception of 'getting' is any comment at any time about any subject on Earth that, directly, peripherally or tangentially, concerns anything you may have thought about at anytime. You take too many things personally and make too many things personal. Your approach isn't, "Did you mean to say this?", it's always, "You said this and you're a that!" You've presumed a familiarity with people in here that's unearned and misaligned. You boldly walk into fights, you rarely walk away.
Opinions are great, yours are sometimes pretty cool. Dynamic conversation is great, and you're capable of that, too. However, if so many people are pissed off at you there's obviously something else in the mix. Either: a) Everyone, including me, is part of an insular Third Eye Klan that doesn't abide uppity outsiders such as you; or b) You get on peoples nerves.
I'm removing your posting privileges as of now, right or wrong, based on all the bad karma you've generated. The karma's gotten so bad it's been fucking up the weather in Montreal and I was hoping to go for a run later. So I have to do something. |

When gull came on here and was called a troll I was one of the few people that supported him said that he wasn't. Add that to my list of being wrong about something. |
