Actually, a lot of companies block USB drives from being used on local systems. I actually know how to enable that across a network, even though the company I work for now (which is actually the company I just went back to recently) doesn't have it enabled. |

Yet another Racsoreax failure-to-express: one's ennui with the Acadacast didn't extend to the various recipients -- they, in fact, comprised the principal sizzle,in the main seemed deserving, very few head-scratchers, but not that many surprises, either. Taking the longest of looks at the entire year, NCfOM was my #3 fillum of same, so that was sort of nice in its way, since am with the technician on that affilliate blooper YouTube. |

Be Kind, Rewind is a film that can't decide what kind of movie to be. It starts out trying to be a comedy, but isn't very funny. There are some laughs, but they are few and far between, and can mostly be seen in the trailer. The movie later tries to turn heartwarming, but fails miserably at that too. Jack Black manages to be both annoying and embarrassing, and does not one, but two scenes in blackface. Mos Def is vague and whiny. Danny Glover and Mia Farrow must have needed the work really badly to take roles in this film. (Note: this is not the worst Mia Farrow movie ever; that distinction belongs to Woody Allen's Alice, a sheer waste of celluloid.) One of the worst of the few movies I've seen this year. Avoid it if you can. |

You also muttered that all through The Outlaw Josey Wales, but at least you watched it. You really should see GWTW, even if you have to root for the damnyankees. |

Yeah but Jack Black is a hip white guy and he's doing it with Mos Def by his side, so ...
well, it's probably extra cringeworthy.
The film sounds pretty juvenile.
Like a good 5 minute sketch on SNL.
The trailer was probably enough for me.
I might see it just because it is NJ specific (if I'm getting things right). |

Passaic, to be exact. If you see it, don't pay too much. |

I haven't read the article but in all fairness, there was very little time to prepare this year's Oscar show because of the WGA strike.
However (another thought), I admit I enjoy the GLOBES more (even tho' they are somewhat of a farce) because of the party atmosphere. Oscar is like attending a dinner party with finger bowls at your stuffy great aunt's.
sorry - this probably belongs in the Lobby.

Hey - a good set of drapes can go a long way! |

Well, it is a Michael Gondry film, not some no-name. I suppose that had a bit to do with it...
Despite what you say, I still want to see it. |
