You know, the possibility that Marj and Wade might both count votes is precisely why I didn't send a backup vote to marj. I cannot with any degree of certainty recall who I voted for.

i'll tell ya who mistah!

p.s. for all the fabulous tabulators(sp?) out there, I'm sorry I didn't vote this year, I knew it would have been a futile attempt and frankly wasn't feeling most of our nominees.

I have been away from keyboard for a few days and allowed my attention to span to more important things, BUT, most of you in our online community know how much you mean to me.

I'll send my whole excel spreadsheet to lorne and please believe me that i didn't want to manhandle the Blanches.

Peace,
W

Marj,

Now that you've gotten a taste of tabulating (and survived), I hope you will volunteer to count a category when Blanche time rolls around next year. It's kind of fun.

As a 4 time tabulator and one-time host of the Blanches, I can tell you Blache-mania is as fun as everyone says it is.

And speaking of next year's Blanches, I propose that we add the Best Costuming category. (Not to mention Best Performance by an Inanimate Object.......)

Woo-hoo on Costume Design; don't know about Inanimate Object, because, given the last few chained-to-the-keyboard years, I would be too tempted to nominate myself. Also advocate the consideration of Ensemble and Editing as future categories.

It is. And I bet even more so when you don't do it all in one night! LOL.

I'll definitely be back next year. Very Happy

PS. I love your idea for Best Costumes.

Lorne, re Best Score Results, I can't get my pm to you out of my outbox. email me.

Yam--Have you gotten your results to Lorne yet? You don't have to send him all of your tallies. Just the winner. And he hasn't time to visit the board. So please email him the winning name. Hope this is a wasted message and you've already done so.

BLANCHE ALERT, BLANCHE ALERT

INCOMING POSTERS, DON'T READ THIS FORUM BEFORE THIS POST IF POSSIBLE

PUBLIC SPOILAGE INCIDENT

KEEP THE SUSPENSE FOR SUNDAY AND SECRET RESULTS SACROSANCT

BE SURE TO TUNE INTO THE 9TH ANNUAL BLANCHE AWARD CEREMONY, FEB.24, 6 PM EST, ON MOST OF THESE THIRD EYE STATIONS. THIS HAS BEEN A BLANCHE ALERT FROM SASSY-SASSY. THANK YOU

Cannot imagine the thinking, am quixotically hoping for a return long enough to edit the post into blankness, so participants can at least try to forget they saw it, or that a moderator-type obliges and thus averts an impending Scandale du Blanche.
