Lorne (I think) posted a complete roster of eligible movies. Where is that list, or can it be repeated? With a category like cinematography, I definitely need my memory jogged.

Melody, regarding your tagline:
I don't know what kind of a girl I am.

I was reading an interview with Sarah Silverman, and at one point she says,
"I'm a ball woman."
And I had no idea what that meant.
Assuming it was some kind of non-sequitor, I kept reading.
A little later in the interview it becomes clear that she's describing herself in classical male sexual terms, as in ... 'I'm a leg man', or an ass man or whatever.

Probably a mite less innocent than what you intended, but that's my point of reference and I'm stuck with it.

Well, here I am re-running Sarah Silverman gags, and I didn't realize at all that The TV Set was 2007.
Judy Greer had one of those Who's That? supporting roles, and belongs on my list.
(Justine Bateman also put some verve and believability into a nothing role as the wife)

Probably too, too late, but here's my revised picks which should have been:

Best Supporting ACTRESS
Judy Greer -- The TV Set
Rosamund Hanson – This is England
Laura Vasiliu -- 4 Months, 3 Weeks & 2 Days

Hon. Mentions:
Cate Blanchett – I’m Not Bob Dylan
Saoirse Ronan --Atonement
Adrienne Shelly -- Waitress

Greer knocked Cate into the honorable mentions. I thought Cate was great as Dylan, but then it just stretched on a bit too long and wore out its welcome.

Says you.

And now that all is, *clearing throat*, said and done. I am SHOCKed and ASHAMEd 2 discover that not one of you, other than me, me being in the collective you, nominated Elvis Costello for Best Supporting Actor in Zodiac.

SINCE I HAVEN'T SEEN ALL THE FILMS, AND AM NOT TOO FAMILIAR WITH THE CATEGORY OF CINEMATOGRAPHY, I'LL OBVIOUSLY HAVE TO CHOOSE FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN. SO HERE GOES!!!!!!

THE KITE RUNNER..................CINEMATOGRAPHY

AUGUST RUSH...................... CINEMATOGRAPHY

INTO THE WILD.....................CINEMATOGRAPHY

Jeremy,

You are supposed to send your tally to Lorne only. You do not do any announcing at all.

That's right Ghulam - thanks for the reminder!

Last year we listed the nominees as soon as they were tabulated. (NOT with number of nominations.) This would be a change in policy, and I don't recommend it. For one thing, I would like a chance to see the Foreign Films and Documentary nominees before I vote.

I'd rec that you slap down your choices and maybe they can still be counted. Could help break the existing tie in Sup. Actress.
