Agreed, Gary.
I do buy most of my CDs the last few years, but I refuse to pay more than $9.99 for any new albums. Circuit City, FYE and Best Buy normally get my business if our local store - Graywhale CD - doesn't have them for the same price.
Older titles are normally $10 or less in most places, depending on what store it is and how much they want to rape you for a CD.
And the music industry blames it all on piracy and is just now barely starting to embrace digital. |

Thanks, Marc, but no Nails? Surprised that Goats Head Soup didn't make the cut. |

Syd, it would be interesting to see if that kid ever made it with his saxophone.
Meanwhile, the turbulent life of Amy Winehouse is in the news again:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6966640.stm .
It surely comes to something when Winehouse's father in law urges record buyers to boycott her records.
Given the ravenous packs in some quarters of the media, there'll be fevered speculation on who goes under first, Winehouse or Pete Doherty. |

Bruce's new single is also available on iTunes this week for free. It's not a bad song, even for someone like myself who's not a major Springsteen fan. |

I honestly don't think it's been said enuff, so:
Beck's Sea Change is a MASTERpiece. |

I need to put that back on my iPod. Much agreed that it's a great album. The staples Odelay and Guero are still on the iPod. |

I will have to post more about last night's Arcade Fire show here in Utah (their first ever performance here), but thought I would post a few pics, including one from back stage with Win and movielover.

They didn't, but I agree.... after watching the YouTube video, they did nail it. |

Arcade Fire concert was amazing!! I loved it!! They were really nice when I met them! I was really glad they played Old Flame. That's a great song!
One album I really like now is Stars- In Our Bedroom After The War. I've heard some songs from it. I would like to get it soon. It's amazing so far of the songs I've heard! Really great band! You should go check out this band and album. |
